Previous News:
June 14, 2004
Many of you have been asking about the date and place for our 2004 International Fetish Ball and
Dominatrix Convention. We've also been receiving lots of requests for placement in our directory
and promotions on our site.
Well, the founders of DomDominion have been incredibly busy with various projects, events and promotions.
We've also suffered from a huge traffic hit to our servers and email systems. Fortunately,
we're back up and running on new servers with a new email system which should make it much easier to
reach us, as well as for us to update our site. (Any spammers want to receive some real torture?)
After much consideration and reflection upon the current state of the fetish/BDSM scene, we've decided
there will be No 2004 International Fetish Ball and Dominatrix Convention.
Much of our decision came about as a result of the frustration of trying to nail down dates that didn't conflict
with any of the many fabulous events already scheduled.
Then it suddenly hit us...
We don't need to produce an event this year. We would rather spend our energy, time (and money), helping others
with their events, and promoting businesses in the industry.
As a result of our brand spanking new servers and email system, we'll be updating our site over the next few weeks.
Expect it to be more focused on promoting the magnificent dominas from around the world with additional features that
we hope will help promote the industry and scene overall.
In regards to a 2005 International Fetish Ball and Dominatrix Convention, we'll be evaluating what's going on in the scene over
the next few months. The last thing we want to do is contribute to the apparent fetish fatigue that appears to be
occuring with the overwhelming amount of events going on.
We'd like to hear from you (and with our new email system, it's more likely your messages will get through;) Please let
us know what you think. We may consider helping to produce/promote an event in your area if you feel there is a lack of quality
events going on.
Thanks to everyone who has helped and supported us along the way,
--DomDominion
